Twinning Program Mid-Month Reflection Session
Learning from Asia Project – 26 June
On 26 June, members of the Twinning Program gathered once again to share updates on their ongoing projects and to reflect on the progress they have made over the past month. This meeting marked an important moment in the program’s first year, offering teams the opportunity not only to present their achievements but also to openly discuss the challenges and questions they are currently navigating.
Each team provided a brief overview of the work completed so far—from refining project concepts to conducting initial research and outlining future steps. Alongside these accomplishments, participants also shared the dilemmas, practical obstacles, and concerns that naturally arise when collaborating across different cultural backgrounds, disciplines, and working styles.
The Learning from Asia project team listened carefully to each presentation and offered constructive, tailored feedback to help guide the teams forward. The discussion highlighted that while challenges are an inevitable part of innovative teamwork, they are also essential to growth. The Learning from Asia team reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the students in transforming their emerging ideas into tangible, high-quality outcomes.
As the Twinning Program continues, the dedication of the participants remains clear. Through regular meetings, mentorship, and cross-cultural collaboration, the project aims to deepen understanding between Asia and Europe and to foster meaningful learning experiences for everyone involved.
The journey is still unfolding, but the enthusiasm and hard work of the teams show that promising developments are on the horizon.
