MCC Learning Institute and Learning from Asia Project Introduced to Students
We are pleased to share that Dr. Richárd Fodor, Research Director of the Learning Research Institute, and Dr. Byambasuren Nymkhuu, our visiting researcher, delivered a joint lecture to students at L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
During the session, the speakers provided an in-depth introduction to the Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC)—its mission, organisational structure, and the principles that guide its educational philosophy. Special attention was given to MCC’s talent development programmes, highlighting how the institution supports motivated and high-achieving students through a combination of academic training, extracurricular development, and international opportunities.
The workshop also presented an overview of several key initiatives of the Learning Institute. This included our Conservative Program and History Program, both of which explore long-term cultural, intellectual, and societal trends within a rigorous research framework. In addition, participants received an insight into the Learning from Asia project, which fosters international academic cooperation and comparative research between Asia and Europe.
Through this session, students gained a broader perspective on MCC’s international research agenda and its commitment to building meaningful global partnerships.
We extend our thanks to the Eurasian National University for the invitation and to all students who took part in this enriching exchange.
